Are your teeth stained? Discolored? Worn? Modern cosmetic dentistry at Dr. Nick’s can help give you a better smile. This “smile makeover” improves the appearance of your smile through one or more of Dr. Nick’s cosmetic dentistry procedures.
With Dr. Nick’s White & Healthy Whitening System, you will get a brilliant white smile, permanently! Dr. Nick will make molds of your teeth so you can have your own unique, ultra-comfortable Dr. Nick’s White & Healthy teeth whitening trays. Then, you will have a simple visit in the dental office, followed by wearing the trays for two weeks at home while you sleep. The Dr. Nick’s White & Healthy teeth whitening process is completed with a final visit in the dental office.
Veneers are thin, translucent shells bonded to the front of teeth. Usually customized from porcelain, they are durable, stain-resistant, and natural in appearance. Veneers conceal broken, chipped, discolored, and misshapen teeth, and provide an attractive and natural-looking smile in a minimal number of visits.
Dental porcelain can be sculpted to closely replicate the look of natural tooth enamel, while providing desirable strength and resilience. Porcelain dental crowns are an excellent choice when recreating the form and function of a damaged tooth because a crown basically replaces the entire external portion of the tooth down to the gum level. Crowns are not limited to simply replacing the original tooth but can be designed to create an even better aesthetic appearance.
A tooth-colored, putty-like resin, is applied to the tooth and hardened with an ultraviolet or laser light, bonding the material to the tooth. Dr. Nick then trims, shapes, and polishes it. Bonding can repair your decayed, chipped, cracked, or misshapen teeth.
Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays, also called indirect fillings, fill decayed or damaged teeth. Your dental fillings are molded into place during your visit. Inlays and onlays are a great alternative to crowns.
Dental implants replace the roots of missing teeth.
Bridges are one the most popular, traditional methods to permanently replace a missing tooth or teeth. To replace a missing tooth with a bridge, at least one tooth on either side of the missing tooth must be prepared for a crown. Afterwards, a false tooth is joined to the crowns, and the entire structure is permanently cemented to the prepared teeth. Special aids are available to help keep the bridge clean.
