3 Steps to a Better Smile

The first thing that someone notices when they first meet you is your smile. Having crooked, stained or missing teeth can certainly affect your confidence. Here are 3 basic steps you can follow to show off a beautiful smile.

Brush and Floss Daily: Brushing Is extremely important. It removes food particles that bacteria feed on and freshens breath. You should floss at least twice a day for 2 minutes. Compliment your brushing with flossing daily to remove the bacteria that gets stuck in between your teeth.

Eat a Healthy Diet: Include foods in your diet that are good for your teeth, such as dairy products (cheese, milk, yogurt), apples, carrots and celery.

Don’t Smoke: People who smoke are more likely to develop gum disease in comparison with non-smokers. Also, tobacco increases the chances of certain cancers and contributes to bad breath.
